Ba-Dastoor began with a simple belief — that the most beautiful things are made slowly, with care, by hands that understand what they are making and why. We are a Chandigarh-born pret label rooted in India's textile traditions and shaped by the modern woman who wears them.
The Origin
Born in Chandigarh in 2015, Ba-Dastoor was conceived as a response to fast fashion — a return to fabrics that breathe, silhouettes that last, and craft that honours the hands that made it.
The Craft
Every piece draws from India's living textile traditions — hand-block prints, artisan embroidery, natural dyes. We work directly with craftspeople whose knowledge is generational.
The Woman
She knows who she is. She chooses with intention. She wants pieces that move through her life — from morning light to candlelit evenings — without asking her to change.
